Dear all, as you might have noticed we have introduced an Off Topic Icon with every post. The reason is that with the help of our members we will manage to keep the threads clean and topic related. As the member count increases so does the number of posts per day it was relatively easy when we had less than a thousand members but now a days it's impossible for the admin team to keep up with the huge number of posts submitted per day. Thus if you are reading a particular topic and find a post that is not related to the main subject simply click on the icon and an email will be automatically sent to the admin team informing them of the post so that adequate action will be taken.Regards Trevor

Thanks Trev, great idea. Whilst we often enjoy going off topic because it usually means we are enjoying posting some funny posts, we also need to be aware that some direction needs to be maintained in the threads so anyone using the site for reference in the hobby will be able to do so easily and thus enhance the site's growing reputation. On behalf of myself and my merry men (plus Maid Marion) I apologise for going OTT in some threads and hope that we will be able to keep most off topic threads in the lounge. Keep up the good work mate!

thanks for pointing it out Punky, the issue is now fixed and the OFF Topic icon should be only visible to members.

lounge is ok as long as we have up to 2 or 3 threads going simultaneously. What we do not want is the threads in the lounge overtaking the threads of the remaining topics.

Thumbs up admin. Don't want to sound dull but there are other places such as facebook and msn where one can talk about anything else...this should be primarily a place where us hobbyists share experiences and learn from each other. Well done! 260l Planted tank, medium high light (184W T5/T8), Eheim filtration, pressurised CO2, EI fertilisation, PH6.6, KH 5, GH 5, TDS 500
