oxygen in a planted tank

hi everyone, i have a planted tank. and i have read that air stones and venturies kills co2 and nitriets. i have stoped down the airstone and the venturies, but after a day my angel fish were trying to get air from the surface i have turned everything on again. my qaustion is. Do planted thanks have to be without air? i don't have co2.

Hello everyone i am new to this forum and maybe i get some help,i have an aquarium 66 x 18 x 16 inches about 75 gallons my planes are to buy angelfish, so far i got 4 Black Phantom Tetra 2 Clown Loaches 2 Panda corydoras Now my problem is how many angelfish shall i buy for this tank,and how will i know if the angels i buy are not cross breed between angels.
